Five Custard Tarts

I was having some brekkie this morning minding my own business when I noticed a guy on another table.

Before I go on, I’ve got to point out to you that I don’t make a habit of inspecting what others eat.

Well, unless you’re one of me personal training clients that is.

The thing is this bloke had a plate full of custard tarts looking up at him.

Not one, not two, but FIVE custard tarts.

I’m quite partial to a custard tart myself, but five is going overboard.

If I could have taken a sneaky pic for you, I would’ve.

Funny thing was that this due was fairly slim.

Didn’t have a big ol’ belly that’s for sure.

This sort of thing winds up a lot of people up.

It’s easy to get green eyes when you see this sort of thing happening.

You see skinny people eating crisps, chocolate and all sorts of random grub and think “You jammy barstool!”

Don’t be fooled by their appearance.

This phenomenon is known as the“skinny-fat”.

There are thousands of skinny-fat people around the country, maybe even millions.

These peeps may look slim and the scales may even paint a nice rosie picture for them too.

But let me tell you, I’ve done a shed load of body fat testing over the years and it’s not uncommon for these skinny mofo’s to have a really high body percentage.

They’re a ticking time bomb ready to go off.

Wait till these people get into their mid-thirties and KA-BOOM!

All sorts of hormonal issues start to arise, belly fat starts to creep up, energy levels sump and they look a shoddy mess of a mess.

It aint pretty.

Same thing will happen to our custard tart friend if he keeps doing business with Mr Kipling.

So, what should you eat to improve your health, wake up your hormones AND lose weight (if that’s your bag)?

I’m no saint, but I know if I stick to these principles for the majority of the time, I can have a couple of beers at the weekend and even the odd takeaway.

If you haven’t got a Scooby-doo where to start then have a look below.
